Savage 96 didn’t begin as a brand.
It began with a party.
In 2019, I needed a hat something to complete an outfit. I found a plain one and decided to make it mine. I added a few details, almost instinctively, and wore it that night without thinking much of it.

At the party, people kept stopping me. “Where’s your hat from?”
When I told them I had styled it myself, they all said the same thing: “You should start making hats.”

That moment stayed with me.
Deep down, hats were already part of who I was. I grew up watching my father leave the house with a different hat every day, cowboy hats ,classic felt or English brims. For him, it wasn’t fashion. It was identity. A small ritual that shaped how he moved through the day.

It stuck with me. Maybe that’s why I didn’t ignore the idea. In order to start a business, i needed some help, so the search started. 
I found an old-school milliner, a woman who had been making hats since the communist era, Mrs. Tatiana. I asked her to teach me. She showed me patience, precision, and tradition. From her, I learned not just technique, but respect for the craft.

With time, I began creating on my own.
Each hat started as a silhouette, but became something more. I realized I wasn’t just designing accessories. I was telling stories. Every piece had a mood. A name. A texture of its own.

Savage 96 is built on that feeling.
It’s not about fast fashion.
It’s about presence, instinct and play.
